Jerry B. Hosey II is a native Floridian, growing up in sleepy Liberty County in North West Florida. He graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. Jerry went on to graduate Cum Laude while earning his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2015. He currently is seeking his LL.M. degree in Business Transactions from the University of Alabama School of Law, online.
Jerry joined the firm as an Associate in October of 2018 after spending three years working at the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, most recently as the Deputy Chief Attorney for Construction where he prosecuted licensed contractors. His focus with the firm is on construction defect litigation, premises liability, and personal injury. While working at DBPR, Jerry won the award of “Top Government/Non-Profit Attorney” by Florida Trend Legal Elite, one of only 58 attorneys to do so in 2018. He is admitted to the Northern and Middle Federal District Courts as well as all Florida State Courts.
